This Cookie Policy explains how LX Commerce Lab, operating as LX Archive Lab (“we,” “us,” or “our”), and our service providers, including Shopify, use cookies and similar technologies when you visit or use our online store. Read this together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. Similar technologies include local storage, software development kits, pixels, tags, and other device identifiers. They can remember a session or preference, keep the cart working, help prevent fraud, measure site use, personalize an experience, or support marketing.

A session cookie normally expires when you close the browser. A persistent cookie remains for a defined period or until you delete it. Cookies can be set by this store and Shopify (“first party”) or by another service integrated into the store (“third party”).

2. Who uses these technologies

We use Shopify to host and operate the store. Shopify and service providers that support checkout, payment processing, security, fraud prevention, customer accounts, communications, and site performance may use cookies or similar technologies to provide their services. A third party’s use of information is also governed by its own privacy notice.

At the date of this policy, the Shopify Customer events page lists no app pixels or custom pixels for this store. Shopify platform technologies and strictly required integrations can still operate. If we add a pixel or other material tracking integration, we will update our controls and this policy as appropriate.

3. Cookie categories

Our Shopify privacy controls organize cookies and similar technologies into these categories:

Required

These technologies are necessary for the store to function properly. They support capabilities such as page navigation, security, fraud prevention, customer sign-in, cart contents, checkout, payment routing, and remembering privacy choices. Required technologies cannot be switched off through the consent panel because the requested service cannot operate correctly without them.

Personalization

These technologies remember information about your actions and preferences so we can tailor a later visit, such as remembering choices or presenting more relevant content. Where consent is required, they are used only after you allow them.

Marketing

These technologies can be used by us and our partners, including Shopify, to measure or optimize marketing communications and to show advertising on other websites. Where consent or an opt-out right applies, we honor the available privacy control as required by law.

Analytics

These technologies help us understand how visitors interact with the store, identify errors, measure performance, and improve navigation and content. Where consent is required, they are used only after you allow them.

4. Consent banner and preferences

Shopify’s automated privacy settings determine where our cookie consent banner is displayed based on applicable privacy requirements and customer location. At the date of this policy, the automated banner is enabled. The displayed controls may change if legal requirements or store settings change.

When the banner is displayed, you can accept, decline, or choose Manage preferences. The preference panel lets you control Personalization, Marketing, and Analytics technologies; Required technologies remain active. You can reopen or update choices through an available Cookie preferences control, clear site data in your browser and revisit the store, or contact us for help.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. A preference normally applies to the browser and device used, so you may need to repeat it on another browser or device.

5. Browser and device controls

Most browsers let you block, delete, or receive alerts about cookies. Blocking required cookies can prevent the cart, customer account, checkout, or other store functions from working. Browser controls are separate from the store’s consent panel.

Where applicable, we also treat a recognized Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request for activities that may be considered sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. More information and an opt-out form are available on Your Privacy Choices.

6. Shopify privacy information

Shopify processes information to provide and improve the platform and certain services. Learn more about Shopify’s practices and available rights in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.

7. Third-party websites

Links or embedded features can lead to services that we do not control. Their cookies and privacy practices are governed by their own notices. Review those notices before using the third-party service.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, integrations, markets, law, or our practices. The current version and “Last updated” date appear on this page. We will provide additional notice where required by law.
